Are u saying the guy selling 45 million doesn't know and you know better?

Sellers are frustrated with the amount of abuse and fraud going on both by the customers and Amazon, that is the real issue. The level of evil, corruption, downright fraudulent behaviour amazon permits on behalf of the POS customers we have in the US is something I haven't seen in the US ever, in decades. It's sad, they basically have been largely responsible for the decadent behaviour of buyers teaching them that even the typical household wife steals constantly. I have checked all my returns which are obviously fraudulent in almost all cases in the US now and all that fraud comes from "middle america well to do caucasian customers, they have been systematically conditioned to F the small business owner... I've been selling on these platforms for ever, (including ebay, mercari, etc, they are all the same or worse in some areas) however; I do not trust them one bit and I sell items that don't have a great potential for loss. But when I try to increase the quality of items I sell on amazon, undoubtedly I get robbed. I either get scammed by other sellers holding my orders in payment processing status for ever so they can sell theirs, the customer steals the product or amazon losses it. It's just ridiculous really. FTC will break them up soon.

Lets share my thoughts! Its a Good news for Old sellers because there will be no competition in uk market. There will be no price war and market will bw not saturated.

Very well explained, So there is no point to get VAT registered for 6.5% intiallay instead of 20 , as you cannot reclaim back the VAT in that case, So one need to understand now if he going to registered VAT it has to be 20 % , so that you can reclaim back the VAT as now VAT on Amazon fee completely changes the whole scenarios

I created an ASIN in 2015 that’s generated consistent sales. However I’ve suddenly found 3 Hijackers on the listing selling my components. As a result I have now a pending Trademark and I’m registered in the Brand Registry. Any recommendations for getting the hijackers off of my listing? I’ve bought their products and they’re a cheap knock off and the packaging isn’t even close to mine.

Great techniques, i “started” amazon fba some years ago but didn’t ever even find a product but did register my company / create a business bank account etc. Now i want to take it seriously, is it better to delete my seller central account and create a new one? Or change my details? ( currently waiting for amazon customer service to help me get back into seller central bc my phone numbers changed and cant get the otp🙄) but when they reply which is best?

I use extensions that constantly check the quantity of goods in the basket, for all sellers on the listing, and so I know exactly how the goods are sold, the exact quantity

Amazon lost 400 units of my stock. They asked me to provide all invoices and shipping documents related to that shipment, which I did. Then they asked me to provide an invoice for an earlier shipment of 4 which I explained were returns sent to me by Amazon that were classed as damaged, but weren't and then sent back to the Fulfillment centre. I explained that these units were from the previous shipment of 400 units and provided the receipt for that. Their reply was ' As you didn't provide the requested document the case is now closed and we will not communicate further on the matter'

Shocking to say the least.....they refurbished the returned item regardless of what's been specified in the settings, that's infuriating. I have picked the option to send the returns to a friend in order not to deal with such Amazon's BS. I feel your pain mate.

Amazon is great example of worst business to partner with! They constantly screw over/ compete directly & are experts at nickel and diming sellers out of any profit margins they are getting. Sellers are sucked in by high volume of sales and potential profits and amazon gets to work at taking as much as possible of sale price of the item leaving little or no profit with seller taking all the risk and stress! They operate from a position of duck you and your business and know they can and truth is they got better at this as well! Private label on amazon is a business built on sand IMO

You wear many hats running your own business but on amz the demolition guy and firefighters is frequently on.

Message is don't sell items that can be significantly reshaped on return.

Hey Darren, surely it is now better to register for VAT if you are under the 90k threshold ,since you can claim it back, whereas if you are VAT exempt you cant?

I feel your pain Darren, 'SS' are worse than useless, it is soooooo frustrating. What with that, plus charges for having too much stock, charges for having too little stock, FBA seller fees, fulfilment costs, VAT on fees (from 1st August), shenanigans from Chinese sellers, after 14 years I'm seriously thinking of packing in Amazon after Christmas as it's fast becoming impossible.
